The timber hybrid tower for wind turbines
Our timber hybrid tower sets new standards, both in terms of ecology and economy. The HASSLACHER group’s timber hybrid tower for wind power systems is the world’s first viable concept that sets new benchmarks from both ecological and economical perspectives.
Our tower is DIBT-certified, has been designed for high-performance systems and is highly competitive! Our tower system is capable of transferring tower loads with hub heights of over 160 m, wind power system outputs of more than 6 MW and the applied force of rotors in excess of approx. 175 m.
The timber hybrid tower
As part of the timber hybrid construction method the respective materials are used in such a way that their specific strength is optimally applied, resulting in great value for money for our customers.
Our tower concept – high-tech and a partner you can rely on
HASSLACHER Green Tower GmbH’s timber hybrid tower for wind power systems is a resolved spatial timber frame structure using glued laminated timber beams made from spruce. Pine heartwood is used as an outer weathering layer. HASSLACHER Green Tower GmbH’s business purpose is the development of dynamically and highly stressed superstructures from composite materials, with a focus on wood as a material and their sale, installation and service. The construction elements used in the timber hybrid towers are produced at the HASSLACHER group’s plants.
